KEY LIME TAU LAUNCH 2017

WEDNESDAY 28TH JUNE
HAWKSHEAD BREWERY x CROOKED STAVE

This year’s release of Key Lime Tau will be collectively launched both at The Hawkshead Beer Hall and at specially selected pubs, bars and bottle shops across the UK in keg & can on International Tau Day 6.28 (28th June), including us!

The beer, originally a collaboration brew with Crooked Stave (USA), is our take on a key lime pie. It was brewed on both sides of the Atlantic, hence two ‘pies’ and is 6.28% in strength. Mathematically Pi (3.14) multiplied by two, equals Tau (6.28). τ = 2π

Key Lime Tau is a kettle-soured, lactose infused Golden Ale brewed with fresh lime zest and lemon grass to taste biscuity and strongly of lime… just like a key lime pie.

We'll be pouring Key Lime Tau from keg and you'll also be able to get your hands on cans to take away.

TUNBRIDGE WELLS BELGIAN WEEK

SUNDAY 16TH JULY

During the First World War, Tunbridge Wells welcomed a self-styled "Belgian Colony" of more than 300 refugees from war-torn Belgium. In July 2017 the town is commemorating their stay with a mini-festival of Belgian-themed events. We'll be joining the celebrations with a full on Belgian takeover on the Sunday - featuring beers from the likes of Boon, De La Senne, Alvinne, De Ranke, St Feuillien and more...

There's lots more going on around town during the week - you can get more details on their website twbelgianweek2017.org.uk
